“These programs offer an antidote to conventional thinking about aging by challenging and aiding us to ‘become the change we want to see in the world.”

STAMINA programs make a place for people to ask questions, voice concerns safely and uncover strengths they haven’t recognized. They come away with new ideas, new friends, and faith in their own resilience for meeting the unknowns ahead.

Drawing upon wisdom from research, literature and poetry, they share creative and interesting ideas with each other for strengthening their mental, emotional, relational and spiritual muscles.

STAMINA Workshops and Retreats

Topics include attitudes toward aging, hopes and fears for the future, being an elder and a mentor and a contributor to the community.  Participants work with each other to identify ways they might maintain and strengthen stamina for living in the present and meeting the future openheartedly on many different levels:  physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Guided meditation and fully accessible simple movement exercises enhance and illustrate the role of flexibility for seeking ever new levels of balance in constantly changing lives.

STAMNA Stories, $20 per session or $100 for 6 pre-registered;  Half Day Workshops $60; Full Day Workshops $85

No one will be kept from STAMINA programs for financial reasons:  sliding scale or scholarships or barter can be arranged.

Workshops are customized to meet the goals of the sponsoring group.  Although STAMINA programs are based in the Northampton area, special arrangements can easily be made for programs in other locations.  Fee plus expenses to be negotiated. Please contact for more details.

. . . Just wanting to let you know how powerful the workshop is right now, as I find my way back to a life of more joy and connection! I had no idea what my family’s story is and how it has impacted me but I do now!
